Everyone loves a compliment. It can brighten your whole day and add a little bounce to your steps!
But while a ‘you look great!’ or a ‘nice shoes!’ is always welcome, us polers are that strange breed that enjoy a very different type of positive words!
So, if you have a pole dancer in your life and want to make them feel good, check out these 5 compliments pole dancers absolutely love to hear!
Pole has evolved and expanded in the last few years, and so have polewear brands. Many have appeared on the market, and there’s something for everyone, whether you like it minimal, covering, pastel or glittery!
And the only one to complain is our wallet! We want all the pretty things!
Far is the time when we had to do with regular sportswear or underwear, and that’s for the best!
So, big shout out to pole brands here! Thank you so much for working toward getting rid of these 4 malfunctions we’d like to see disappear from polewear!
We’ve said it, thought it or heard it at least once: I can’t pole dance, I’m too – insert comment about body here -!
Whether it’s too curvy, too skinny, not strong enough or whatever can fit in the above field, there’s this misconception that you need to be a certain way to start pole dance.
And that’s so wrong! You have a body? (well yes, like all humans haha!) Then you’re made perfect for pole, because that’s the only mandatory criteria!
All body shapes have different advantages or bring a certain type of difficulty, but that’s what it’s all about: being perfectly imperfect (and proud of it!).
If there is one thing all pole dancers have in common, it’s not wanting to be off the pole for too long from injury!
So if a dreaded injury happens, and when we’re not trying to heal it ourselves or completely ignoring it, we turn to our fellow polers and ask for advice of course! If we’re really worried, we might even ask Dr Google… which is probably falling in the pit of VERY bad ideas!
So, how to deal with everything we’re told online when we’re allergic to the doctor?
It’s common knowledge that us poledancers are after activities that can help with our pole dancing and flexibility skills! Yoga, weight training, classical dance… whatever it takes! Some polers even work on their middle splits while reading or squat while brushing their teeth!
So why not take this to the bedroom (or any place you like to have a little naughty fun, really), and heat your training up a notch with these 5 sex positions that can improve your pole dancing? (You can google them if you don’t see what they are, because I can’t put explicit pics as you can understand!)
But don’t forget the foreplay… oops, warmup!
Wow, it all went so fast!
Three days ago, there barely was a project and a name, and now the blog is ready to fart glitter on the pole world, starting on Friday!
Ready for The Unicorn’s first article? This is going to be *ahem* a little naughty!
See you on Friday!
